Dexter is Really Sick.....

It's been a rough couple of days for us as Dexter is really ill and been admited to the animal hospital for the last 3-4 days in a row for tests, x-rays, and iv's to try and hydrate him. He has a fever, won't eat, has no energy, and just wants to sleep all day, which is so unlike him and really sucks. A few posts back I mentioned he ate an entire onion, which we thought was the cause, but it's now been 12 days since then, so doctors are not sure that's the problem and he may have some sort of an internal infection.

I can imagine ther's nothing worse than having your kids be really sick when you fear for their health, and since our dogs are like our kids, it's been an extremely stressful couple of days for us. We're on our way to pick him up from the animal clinic after being admitted for the day, but will more than likely have to take him back for round 3 tomorrow.
