Tonight was a blast as we got to hang out for a bit with one of the upcoming wedding couples of 2008! Tom and Jamie make such an amazing couple, and are both so down to earth and fun to work with. It's not everyday someone drives all the way from Staten Island for an engagement session, so we were extremely honored to have them make the trip to take photos and have dinner - no pressure! (gulp)What's really cool about Tom and Jamie, is the fact that they are almost like kids trapped in grown up bodies, and they compliment each other so well in the way they interact with one another. Tom is a huge fan of Superhero's, and has an ongoing private joke with his Superman shirt that we decided to have a little fun with. (It's actually pretty funny how much like Clark Kent he looks when he's got the glasses on!)
Anyway, here's a few shots I liked and thought I would post. We'd like to again thank Tom & Jamie for not only making a 3 hour drive, but for a fun shoot tonight as well as the opportunity to have dinner, talk and hangout for a bit. You guys are truly awesome, and we very much look forward to shooting your upcoming wedding next year! We'll have your images ready to check out in a few days - thanks again!!!

I am Jamie's mom. The photos you took of Jamie & Tom are great. Of course my favorite is Superman, but I don't think they will use that for their announcement. (I would.)
I also like the black & white alot. I can see why they chose you as their photographer. Your photo's are very original.
