Another Weekend to Look Forward to...

Another long week come and gone, and looking forward to another fun weekend and the upcoming shoots. I would have loved to post some images from a few shoots during the week, however we just can't post everything on the blog unfortunately. Spring was here in full effect this week, and I had to take advantage of the nice weather by getting a shot of the Twin Bridges on my way home tonight. I love taking photos of the bridges (and have quite a few samples on the website), however I wish they had lights on them, so they'd light up at night...... I'll have to write the mayor a letter I guess to ask for lighting! Will post more tomorrow and Sunday as we'll have some shoots I can post samples of hopefully.

Somewhere in the Catskills

More like lost in the Catskills actually! We decided to leave the day open today so Tonya and I could get a chance to relax and unwind after a long week. We both were somewhat bored this morning, so decided to drive into the Catskill Mountains a little bit with the dogs. There's some pretty scenic places in the area that I have not been to before.... it sorta makes you wonder if the people that see this stuff everyday even notice what catches the eye for someone that doesn't live in the area? Anyway, had a great time out, and decided to snap a couple shots for the blog. We're now off to have dinner with some friends - hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Making a Difference in Your Business...

Another busy week has passed, and what a great way to start the weekend, with some new professional headshots for Glen. Wedding season is just around the corner for us, but it's been amazing what the need for headshots & business portraits has been this past couple of weeks. If you think about it, a professional headshot can do wonders for your business when clients can see who they are dealing with, and are great for a website, business cards, or other forms of advertising. Thanks for stopping by tonight, Glen, and we wish you the best of luck in your business!

More Actor Headshots!

Had a fun shoot tonight with an aspiring, young actress, Devan. Devan was really cool to work with, simply because she's so bubbly and outgoing, and we hope to see her new headshots help to launch her new career in the right direction. As I always say, remember the face - you may just see her on tv one of these days! Thanks for a fun shoot, Devan, and good luck!!!

The Beauty of Pregnancy

Had the opportunity today to work with some of our favorite clients, Bill & Angela. We did a shoot with them earlier last Fall, when Angela learned she was pregnant, so this was a follow up shoot, now that she is showing nicely. Bill and Angela are awesome people to work with, as we always have a lot of fun, (not to mention they are extremely photogenic!)

Angela is due next month, and we wish them both a smooth and easy birth of their little girl. Above is "teaser" image I promised to share. Thanks for a fun shoot, guys!

Expensive Day At The Animal Hospital

Not a lot of shooting this weekend, however I am excited to have scheduled a couple more wonderful weddings for the upcoming year. Now that we have been keeping a blog for our viewers & clients to read, I'm really looking forward to being able to post sample images of the bride the day after the wedding, once the season soon kicks off.

The big news today, was the unfortunate incident (which we still don't fully understand), with our littlest dog, Kaydi (Kaydi is the Chihuahua & Rat Terrior mix above). We returned from church to find her limping around with a 1 inch gash in her leg, nearly down to the bone! We spent much of the day taking her to the animal emergency clinic, where she had to be sedated and stiched up. I found a partial metal stake sticking out of the ground outside where they play, and I'm wondering if she accidentally caught her leg on it while running or something? Anyway, Kaydi now has one of those ridiculous looking lamp shades around her neck for the next ten days, which should be interesting! Needless to say, it was an expensive day at the clinic for us.

It's amazing how much your dogs become a part of your family, and you love them like a child. Tonya and I don't yet have kids, but I can't imagine what it will be like if we are this protective and caring for our two dogs (Dexter & Kaydi). As you can see from the photos above, they are hard not to pamper.

New FAQ Page Added to Website

In efforts to keep the website as up to date as possible, we have created a new FAQ page with various possible questions a client may have, in hopes to better educate our customers of our services. I would urge interested clients to check it out, as there is a lot of really good information listed there. More updates will follow, of course!

You can check out the new FAQ page by clicking below:

Twin Bridges

Somewhat of a quiet weekend for some reason... I'm making the best of out it before another year of the busy wedding season starts for us. Decided to take a ride today, and found a cool spot to photograph the Twin Bridges of Albany, NY. The sun had gone down, but there was just enough light to bring out the evening sky as the cars whipped by in both directions. This is now one of my new favorites of the bridges, although I do have a few more posted on the website for you to check out. By the way, this shot was created with lots of standing outside in the dark and cold tempuratures, so I'm looking forward to kicking my feet up on the couch for the remainder of the night!
